The clubs Xmas night out, at bit late but worth the wait.

Well I must admit it was another good night out at the China Palace, although the singing voices for the Karaoke were not on fine form this year (where was Claire?).

We met up in Alma De Cuba (the Polish church) in Seel Street, It’s the first time I’ve been in it’s an amazing place inside, not what you expect from the entrance. Then it was up to the Chinese for 8.00 p.m. the food was good and plentiful. It was a very busy, fun night. We had to sit through two awful renditions from the AquaV boys, and the girls had a little dance.

When the doors closed on the China Palace the night wasn’t over, some sad person (wont name names) suggested the Cabin Club and for some reason we all agreed! Well let’s say you could have a dance, the drinks weren’t too dear but you had to hold onto your partner or the roving males would have swiped them onto the dance floor (reminds me of the Grafton some years ago).

So with the Derby 0-0 and the Seacat almost sinking with the cars still on board, I’m glad to say that something went right on the day and everyone left smiling, and a little less steady on their feet than when they arrived. Thanks to everyone for making it a great night and hope you enjoy the photos on the Club Members Picture Gallary.
